Throwback 3

Hello and welcome to everyone who is reading this. I am back for my third throwback. The past 2 weeks I worked very well and hard at my internship company. My project is coming to an end. In a few weeks I will have to present my results to the management. Very exciting!

The weekend of 13 April was very relaxed for me. I went to the city centre by myself to go shopping and I also biked around in the city. It was fun with the sunny weather.

The Saturday afternoon, Merel, Mathias and I went to grab a beer in a cool pub named Cafe Schuim. It was nice to see Mathias again after such a long time, we will definitely meet again here in Amsterdam.

Last Thursday evening (18 April), I took the Flixbus back to Belgium. After a 3 hours’ drive I arrived in Ghent. The day after, I met with my ‘members’ of the Chiro and my fellow leaders. They organised a whole day in Ghent. We went shopping, drank some wine at the ‘Graslei’ and took a nap in the Abbey Garden. In the evening, we ate ribs in the Amadeus. Delicious! I had a lot of fun and it was good to see each other again.

On Saturday, I finally saw my girlfriend Marie again. We had a lot to say because we hadn't seen each other in 7 weeks. To have the perfect quality time, we went to the Knokke-Heist for a weekend. We did fun things together such as beach walks, a bike tour, a picnic in the dunes, eating ice cream, cooking together, watch a movie,.. The time went way too fast and we were sad to say goodbye for a second time now.

This evening, I will watch the second episode of Game of Thrones together with my best friend Gust here in my hometown, I’m looking forward to that.

On Tuesday, I have a meeting in Cargill in Ghent and in the evening, I will take the Thalys train back to Amsterdam.

It just occurred to me that last week, I also went to a pub with some colleagues to watch football (Ajax - Juventus). That was a lot of fun too.
