It’s been two weeks ago since throwback 3, the time goes really fast here in Amsterdam.

Last week, I went to the museum of Heineken, called the Heineken Experience. I did this together with Mathias and Kristof of International Business Management. Thanks to Mathias, we got free tickets for this museum. Inside we saw the history of the beer, the ingredients and the making off in 4D. At the end, we had the chance to make our own bottle of Heineken and to drink at the bar.

The rest of the week was hard working at Cargill on my project. On Fridaynight, 26 of April, there was Kingsnight. Together with Kristof, Merel, Jill and Zoe, we partied in the Coco’s outback (after some beers at my place). We all had a lot of fun and it was the perfect way to start the next day with a small hangover on Kingsday. In Amsterdam, Kingsday is just amazing. So many people on the street partying, selling beer, food, shots,… It is like the whole city is 1 big festival with party boats everywhere. With the same group of the day before, we celebrated the birth of King Willem-Alexander.

On Sunday, we had our traditional ‘Mol’ evening at my place. By the time writing this throwback, the final of the Mol will begin soon. I am very excited!

This week, I had a few important meetings at work concerning my project. Next week on Thursday, I will need to present my end work to the management team. Tuesday evening, Ajax played another football match in the Champions league, this time against Tottenham. Mathias, Kristof and I saw the match on TV in a pub in Amsterdam between a lot of fans. It was a nice evening, especially because they won so there was a good ambiance.

On Wednesday evening, my girlfriend Marie came to Amsterdam for a visit. It was good so see her again. In the weekend, we went to Amsterdam North, the city centre, the Eye film museum and many more places. We had a good time together again and now she went back home and I will have to miss her for 1 more month.

Thank you for reading my throwback, have a nice day!
